Bianca Zuluaga is a partner at Diaz Briscoe Medina. She focuses her practice on civil litigation with a specialization in first party insurance defense. Prior to joining Diaz Briscoe Medina, Ms. Zuluaga handled a variety of residential and commercial first party property insurance defense cases, as well as pre-litigation investigations. She has also defended cruise lines in personal injury actions involving crewmembers and passengers, as well as large cargo companies in shipping disputes. Ms. Zuluaga also has experience with transactional and employment issues, which she gained through an internship she completed at Royal Caribbean International.

During her career, Ms. Zuluaga has successfully handled numerous cases through trial. She has also been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the years of 2017 and 2018.

Ms. Zuluaga obtained her juris doctorate degree at the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, she interned with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida and she was a fellow in the University of Miami’s Professional Responsibility and Ethics Program, where she conducted presentations to bar associations and law firms on various ethical issues.
